Supplies: Your choice of beads. I used black and silver glass beads (about 21 total)
              Ribbon, 1/8"
              Organza Ribbon, 7/8"
A handful of jump rings, a lobster claw hook ( I got a little package of silver findings, had everything I needed plus.)
                Needle nosed pliers
                scissors
needle, small enough to go through the beads but big enough to thread the ribbon through

Cut a yard of the bigger ribbon, cut that in half, so you have 2 pieces 1 1/2 feet long.
Thread one side through a jump ring, knot. (a)
Thread the one through a jump ring attached to a lobster claw hook, knot, (b) set both aside till the end
Cut a yard of the thinner ribbon, cut in half, knot one end (c) so you have a loop.
Thread 1 bead on one side of the loop, knot on both sides of the bead, as closed to the bead as you can.
On the other ribbon thread 2 beads, tie both ribbons together, knot.
follow that pattern, alternating the beads on the ribbons.

The finish was fun..... I looped the bigger ribbon through the loop of thinner ribbon, back up to the jump ring and knotted it. nobody will bee it anyway. I'll try to figure out a better way of doing it.

This is a better tutorial.... and the original

The 2nd one I love, but I didn't take any pictures of the making.....  (duh) I like the bead better and I didn't use any ribbon. Embroidery thread, and finished it by knotting it around a jump ring.

Yesterday really, I got a wild hair and decided to redo my bedroom and bath.... Nothing like a new project in the midst of a bunch of other projects..... (jump around much?) Oh well, it is what it is. So without further ado my new pillow shams... ( the first project not off pinterest.... yes I'm surprised as the next person!) And some very timely advice and instruction from my Mom.... (who can sew rings around most anybody.)

From this to.....

to this.

With no pattern I might add! HA!! Now I'm trying to decide if they need bows....

Magnet Board

Before

After

Before and after..... I had an old, beat up cookie sheet, I spray painted it black, cut 3 pieces of scrapbook paper to fit, Modge Podged it all together, ran a ribbon through the hole that was already there... voila... instant magnet board. (Because you can't use magnets on stainless steel)

Tee Shirt Flower

I cut out 12 of theses flowers

I used my sizzix for the flower,# 654980

Cut a felt circle about 3inches,

2 slits to run the tie
Fold flowers in half, then quarters

Glue on the circle
Then offset the rest.

I matched the side up.

Button in the center
Can't find my rhinestones...

It'll be cuter when it dries!

So today I'm jumping on the scarf bandwagon.... however when I looked in stores, wow, all that for a scrap of material??!! Well I can make that.....

With some help from pinterest, (don't ya just love pinterest?)

This one I didn't take pictures of the making.... but cut some tee shirts into different sized strips, braid, twist, loop, whatever you want till you have the look you want. Tie together, wrap the joint, stitch closed. Presto Change-o.... Scarf!!

Dahlia....

4 inch circle cut out of cardboard ( I used a old box)
4 inch squares from paper ( double so I had different paper for the inside and outside)
glue
pencil

Glue your paper tubes around the edge of your circle, moving inward with every round, off setting each round of cones.
for the ones in the center I used a chopstick to hold it in till the glue set.
easy peasy lemon squeezy ...  Btw, the orginal is at http://hisugarplum.blogspot.com/ , This is just my twist on it.

But now I have no idea what I'm gonna do with it..... I thought at first the mantle, but yeah.... nope!!

Sometime last week or so I saw the coolest project while Stumbling, here is my take it. The original can be found at....  http://twogirlsbeingcrafty.blogspot.com/2011/03/spring-scrapbook-paper-tree.html I just fell in love with this look!!

Cut out leafs out of my scrapbook paper, wire, glue,
wire snips, a branch, vase, kitty litter

Glue down the center, lay wire on glue,
 top with another leaf

lots and lots of glue

Done, and I really like the way it's all coming together.

Still missing something..... maybe greenery
